I replaced the control unit on a Siemens SL34a dishwasher and now the wash time is off and the unit doesn't seem to dispense the rinse agent. I'm wondering if there is some programming of the controller needed and if so, how do I do that?

I believe if it would need a programming at the time of installation then it should be written in the installation instructions. Unfortunately we are not able to find any technical information for non American models. Try to call the manufacturer.

I bought the unit in Canada but I believe it came from the US. There should be a Bosch unit that programs the same but I don't know the corresponding model number. The manufacturer won't help me and there were no instructions with the replacement part.

1/12/12 just had a Borsh repair person install a controller on my Siemens dishwasher. New controllers do not need programming.
