I have an Tappen range that I want desperately to clean if the top opens so that I can clean down below the gas burners from run overs, etc. It's gross and I don't know know if this oven opens up. I have severe rheumatoid arthritis so someone else would need to help me if I know for sure how to approach this problem, if it opens, or if there is some other way to get to it. The oven was in the home when we purchased it, home about 14 years old. Thanks for the infor.
