Hello Everyone,

Not very good in appliances, but figured out a lot thru you tube.
We found out that we have to change the belt on this dryer.
The question I have is, do you open from the FRONT:confused: or from the BACK:confused: to change it:rolleyes: .

Thank You,

Loreta:)

Hi Gene,

I looked again, I guess the number 110.9708/9709 is what manual said.
The Dryer itself is Model # 110.97088601 ( I read what's written inside the door)
Serial # MU2304537.

Does this helps?

Thanks again,
Loreta

Loreta,

The model# 110.97088601 is the correct model number. You always have to look for model numbers on an appliance, not in a manuals.

The access to the belt is from the back of the dryer. You can find the instructions in the Tech sheet, page 11. The Tech sheet is attached to the reply.

- The belt Part number: AP2911808
Part number: AP2911808

Hello Gene,

When we opened the front panel, got the same Tech Sheet hidden inside the panel. We got a little scared getting the back side open to change the belt, since everything on you tube pretty much showed taking everything from the front. We got the new belt in..And realized after all said & done, you are right to take the panel off the back. Have to learn from out mistakes. Thanks for all your help...It took us 4 hours to do it, but we did it..

Many Thanks & Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Sincerely,

Loreta :-)
