Recently our Maytag Neptune stacked washer and dryer stopped working. The dryer would tumble but with no heat and the washer quit completly. After a bit of troubleshooting we concluded that at least the Machine control board needed replacing. Now we can only operate the wash while the dryer is tumbling and we the dryer is still not heating up. Any suggestions?

I'm afraid it's not going be too easy to diagnose this problem. Looks like there is a short somewhere in an electrical part of the washer or/and the dryer. You have to have a simple multimeter and ability to read a wiring diagrams to proceed with the troubleshooting. Otherwise it's better to call a pro.
