Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/19/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		My washing machine continues to fill up even when it is off. I think the hot and cold valves need to be replaced, but am not to sure? If that is the case, would someone be able to tell me where to order these parts? Thank you.

Note check your Model Number it does not look correct for a Whirlpool, they usually have a couple letters at the start. Model Number Locator Does sound like the valves need replacing especially if it still fills when the unit is unplugged. This way you know that there is no way the machine can power them and one of them is stuck open.

Whirlpool makes Inglis Would there be anything else that would be causing this to happen? No. The valves should close when power is removed.
