My mom was pulling the lower rack out and the lower spray arm was probably up. I think she forced it, and the arm support (hub) broke off. I found out the part number from your website (part 552 - AP2039804). However, I just want to make sure it is the exact piece.
Since only a small portion broke out, the rest of the portion is still in there, and I can't find a way to take it out. I have tried twisting it, or just pulling it out, but it doesn't budge at all.
Can you help me in taking it out?

I have attached the pictures of the broken part.

Thanks!

In order to remove the hub you have to remove the pump (under the dishwasher) first.

The part number for the hub is the right one.

Can you point me to some documentation/diagram as to how do I remove the pump (under the dishwasher)?

Thanks.

The first thing you have to do is to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet. Lay it down on the back to get access to the pump & motor assembly (#423 on the break down diagram).

Remove the pump & motor assembly and then remove the spray arm tube (#455) and the old hub.

Before I take out the dishwasher, do I need to take out all the water supplies as well? The valve going from under the sink to dishwasher does not rotate at all (probably because it has never been closed).

Yes, you have to turn water supply off and disconnect the water line from the dishwasher. If the water shut off valve under the sink is frozen up, call a plumber to fix it first. You have to remove the power from the dishwasher too.
