Sirs, While moving the unit to clean behind it my wife noted a part that popped off from under it. I need help I.D. ing and ,if possible, repairing said part. This piece is weird. Wedge shaped, 2x1" and tapered, it's about 5/8" thick at one end and i/8 at the other. It is clear plastic(0ptically transparent)and is housed in a fitted white plastis tray with an indexing notch on one side. Looks like some sort of lens.We can't find a manual.

I would really like to guess that this foreign object never originated from your fridge... Assuming that it's a fridge; just listing upright 15 for a model number doesn't cut it... Need more info, no way no how can any cyberwhoever without a crystal ball figure out this piece you're describing without a model number... If temps are normal in fridge and freezer then simply hang on to this alien for awhile then discard... cheers, kooler
