My microwave continually randomly beeps when power is turned on. I am able to use it most of the time, other times it wont let me program anything. It also goes into "crisp" mode everytime it starts to beep. From there I cannot program anything to turn it on. What part do I need to replace to fix this problem, membrane switch or control board? Thanks for any expert help. ...Larry --to stop it from beeping I must shut the circuit breaker...

My oven just started doing the exact thing. We've been keeping the circuit breaker off to prevent the beeping. I'm interested in whether you were able to find the solution. Thank you.

No I haven't had a tech over to check it. They want $120. We turn on the circuit breaker when we need it then turn the breaker off when finished. If we leave the breaker on, it just keeps randomly beeping and won't stop. Have you found a way to tun off the volume so the beeping will be inaudible? I have'nt been able to figure it out.
