gas drier fails to always fully dry load. i have checked the bimetal switch used to sense the electric ighition heater it functions, the ignition heater functions, the ignition is on for about five seconds , I have observed it to fade to black just as the gas ignights, it appears to be a borderline heater timing issue, I did reset the heater a bit closet to the sensor, seemed to help,a bit....but not fully.......I will relocate it bit closer to the sensor.....In the mean time does any have info on How to increase the time the ignition heater is on:mad:

The igniter should stay "on" only until the gas lights up. Do not do any alteration!

What is the complete model number of the dryer? What is the original problem?

Gene.
