Yesterday when I was drying my clothes I smelled a burning smell on and off thoughout the day. Last night, the dryer stopped heating. The dryer still turns, howerver the clothes never get warm (they stay cold)..and in return are not drying. Which part do I need to replace? The Heating Element...or could this be a different part? Thank you!

The heater may be your problem but there are a few other things that will cause this. There are two thermostats on the side of the heater-can along with a few other things. This link may be useful Whirlpool Dryer No Heat Repair Guide
