I have a Frigidaire side by side refrig thats freezing products on the refrigerator side. The damper was not operating properly. I replaced the damper motor, refrigerator control, and the adaptive defrost. Its still freezing products. The condenser coil is clean. Im stuck.... Can anybody suggest the next step?

Does the damper now close all the way when you select a warmer temp in the fridge.
You may have an adjustable vent in the veg. or meat crisper . Is this the area which is freezing.
Does your compressor cycle on and off like it's supposed to.

Does your compressor cycle on and off like it's supposed to. Its freezing the product on the 2nd shelf. The vgtable are not a problem. The damper was closing after replacing the parts, but the customer says its not closing now. This is a new damper with new controls, including the adaptive defrost board. The customer complained of an iced up evap whin the last year on two occasions. Thats why I replaced all componets. I asked the customer to set the freezer temp to a warmer setting to see if this would help. Thanks for the post. Curt
