Have a part 3389946 - high temp thremostate - when using a volt meter on this part - it shows an "open". Is this part working correctly when its open or closed?

Please respond to mr_rabbit_58@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Standing there at room temperature and ohming out the thermostat you should get a reading. When it gets to 250 degrees, it will become an open circuit. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
