My main burner element had a weak spot and burned through one day last week, and when it happened I think it shorted out my control panel as it went blank. I've replaced the main element - but when I turn the power back on the panel is still blank except for a few -- ---'s and none of the touchpad controls do anything. The fan runs though constantly - which is also why I think the control panel must have overloaded as it's still telling the fan the oven is on. I'm not sure of anything else to do other than replace the panel. You show it as part # AP 382974. Does this dagnosis sound right to you?

thanks

Most likely the problem is a bad control board.

In order to provide you with the right part number I need you to post the serial number of the range.

Thanks for the reply. I got the part number noted earlier from looking up the serial # and tracking it to series 10, then finding the part on your site - printing off the photo you had of the back of it which was a HUGE help. I was able to walk it over to the oven and compare it to the actual panel as well then to make sure that it was in fact a perfect match. Ordered today from you guys. Your site was the only one I found that had both front and back shots of all the control panels that even after looking up the part number, allowed me to visually match it as well - which is a plus with something like this. Last thing I want is to order a $160 part and have it be wrong, and take even more time to get another.

thanks
