Error "CE". Motor control board has blown 12amp fuse. What caused the failure, not sure. Jumpered new fuse in but will not run drain pump or start motor. Jumpered drain pump with 120 volts and runs fine. Jumpered main motor but can not get to start. how to verify motor is good before ordering new control board @ $200.00?

Chas Dino, You can find the troubleshooting instructions in the Service manual. Post the results and we'll help you with the correct part number(s). Gene.

:) Gene, Thanks for the link to the Job Aid service manual. Looked up troubleshooting and have done all the steps listed. Checked ohm readings on both drive and pump motors. They are within specs and I am pretty sure the motor control bd is main prob. I have a new bd ordered. But, still would like to bench test the drive motor out of the washer. Do you have any suggestion? Originally Posted by: Chas Dino Error "CE". Motor control board has blown 12amp fuse. What caused the failure, not sure.
