Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/7/2009(UTC) Posts: 1		dryer will run and do fine for about 45 minutes, then shut off. Then have to wait for about 20 to 30 minutes before it will start again. Can smell a burning smell around the start button.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Hi Mydeuce I would replace the start switch, since it is so inexpensive Replacement parts for MAYTAG LDG4914AAE \| AppliancePartsPros.com but it sounds more likely you are having a motor problem and will have to replace it. Anyway, try the start switch change out and let us know how it turns out.
