I have a Kitchen Aid Dishwasher that has a door that no longer supports itself and it falls open if one does not support it when opening. Do I need the link kit AP3775412 or something else perhaps?

Thanks,

Tim

Cannot say what needs replacing.
Remove the kick plate and take a look.
You may have to pull the unit out 6 inches or so to see what has broken or come loose.
