I have recently replaced the Smart Board for this microwave, after a GE technician told me it would cost ovr $200 to repair. Everything went smoothly, except when I put the unit back in and plug it in, the buttons do not work/beep. I checked all the connections, and I have been trying to get a hold of the schematics so I can try to figure out what might be wrong. Any ideas or suggestions?

Did you plug the key pad ribbon in the slot on the control board?
If there is nothing wrong then the key pad has to be replaced.

Did you ever find a source for the schematics? I need for a GE model HVM1750SMSS over the counter model.
Please advise...
