I replaced the water valve, and all seems fine but have a slight drip from the ice tube where it goes into the valve. Do I just push the white the "ring" tight? It does not seem to mover more than a faction of an inch, and when I tried to take the hose out to cut it straight again, it was very hard to remove. And the white ring barely moved.
Thank you for your help.

Push the white ring INTO the valve and pull the line out of the valve at the same time. Make sure that the line has NO ruff spots where it enters the valve!!!!:)
