freezer side is cold fresh food side is warm i noticed the damper was shut the temp setting is at the coldest temp what could be my problem and how to check it thanks

Of course the damper should be open when the fridge is on the coldest setting so the fridge temp control could be bad, damper stuck etc. Your damper has a switch on it. Part 115 on this diagram of your controls. Part 23 is the electronic control and you have a thermistor for the fridge. Part 21.

Watch it when you adjust the temp to see if there is any movement.
You can manually open the damper to temporarily cool the fridge while you play with it.

how do you check to see witch part is bad i ordered a thermistor it was the cheapest im hoping thats the problem
