My refrig. has been leaking from a box in the refrig. located top back and center. Once it pools on the bottom it begins to freeze. Our freezer works fine but not sure why water comes leaking out from this box. We unplug and thaw it out thinking maybe there is ice blocking a line but when we plug it in again, then a few days go by and it starts again. We keep the refrig temperature at the normal never above.

The box may be your drip pan.It has a hole in the bottom with a drain tube. Your drain tube must be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flush it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough. The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.
