Makes plenty of ice, and dispenses water no problem, but will not dispense ice. The auger does not appear to move. I've completely defrosted it and let it sit for a day, powered it back up, so nothing appears to be frozen. It makes a loud click when I push the dispense pad, but again, it appears the auger isn't moving. I took the whole auger/ice bin assembly out, held down the safety switch with the door open, and pressed the dispense pad, and the auger drive mechanism on the back wall doesn't appear to move either.:confused:

The clicking noise you hear is the solenoid I would say. You need to know if the motor is getting power or not. Normally if it is getting power it will at least hum so move your selector to crushed ice so the noise of the solenoid will not drown out the hum of the auger motor. Then test it just as you describe above with the door open. If you hear the motor trying to turn take a screwdriver and attempt to turn the motor by hand. You may be able to break it loose and it may go back to work. If you do not hear the motor try to turn (hum) the problem is electrical and because the solenoid will work I would say the problem would be in the housing that the motor is in (loose wire or the motor winding are open). Note that if the motor will break loose take it out and dry it off with at hair dryer good and reinstall it. If the motor locks up again replace it. Ice Dispenser Repair Guide
