My oldie but goodie Jennair s125 electric range needs a burner control...I would appreciate some hints as to how to get the front panel loose, so I can remove the bad control and replace it... Thank you in advance for any and all help...

Utuado, First, remove power to the range, you'll be dewaling with 240 VAC components, you don't want to hurt yourself. Open or remove the oven door, and remove the four screws along the bottom of the control panel, they attach the panel to the oven frame. Grasp the control panel by the end and pivot the panel out at the bottom, until the panel unhinges from underneath the cooktop assembly. Be carefull and cautious, you don't want to accidentally knock any wires loose or cause any breakage. Remove the knob, then the two screws holding the switch to the panel. Thanks and Good Luck, :) :) :)
