Original timer died recently & I replace it with new timer from AppliancesParts Pros. New timer worked for 2 loads first week and 1 load second week. On 2nd load of 2nd week, the timer turned on the dryer OK but did not move off the "normal dry" selection for an hour. I replaced it with another timer from your company and it seems to stay on one spot also. I am now wondering if something malfunctioned on the temperature sensor circuit board or the sensor bar would cause the sensor to constantly show the clothes condition as damp and therefore keep the timer in one position. Just need an opinion. Thanks.

Wimmer, Yes,
You need to check and clean the drum sensor bar assembly with alcohol, and remove and clean the debris and lint underneat the bar as well.

Also check the wiries or replace the dryness display assembly, if cleaning the sensor bar does not solve the issue.
