ice maker water supply tube in back of side by side refrigerator sprung a leak . there is a connector in the line. how do i remove the bittier end of the tube from the inline connector part # ap3085805. i don't need the entire supply tube , i only need the lower section that sprung the leak. i just need to know how to seperate it from the connector.

Take your finger tips and press in on the locking ring on the end of the connector you want to release. The ring will be the little part up against the water line and may be hard to push. It will only move a little. Now at the same time pull the water line out. When you replace the water line, ensure to push it in until it stops and it will be water tight. The connection at the water valve will have the same kind of connector.
