Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/17/2009(UTC) Posts: 13		My Whirlpool GU1500XTLQ3 has completely stopped working. It's as if there is no power to it at all. The breaker is not tripped. The unit was running and I opened the door to put something in that I forgot and it never started back. Is there a fuse somewhere on the unit or would this be a control panel issue? I'm fully capable of repairing this unit myself, I just need to know what I need to check before proceeding on my own. I have all the tools, including a multimeter. About three years ago, I had to replace the motor drive unit. That went fine with no issues. Last year, I replaced the dispensing unit in the door. The original part was still working, but I just upgraded it to the newer part that works better. Can you help me?

The fuse is Item 6 in Section 2. If blown be sure to use the new harness that comes with it. You may want to first check the wire nuts connecting the line to the unit. Last year had a run of these 3 in the matter of 2 months where they had come loose.
