The washer beeps 3 times when I hit the power button but it will not power on. I can hit the control lock key and it works but that is it. But it is also on the left side under the power button. I am getting no display or anything. I have unplugged it for awhile and tried another outlet and same result.

Rej, You need to check the door switch and door lock assembly and wiring. If the control board does not "see" the door open or close between cycles, it won't start and onnly beeps. Thanks and Good Luck, :) :) :)

could the issue be the control panel since there are no lights coming on at all now.

I wouldn't start there though. Here are some excerpts from the owners manual, that may help explain better: WASHER WON’T RUN, FILL, RINSE, OR TUMBLE; WASHER STOPS
Is the washer door firmly shut? The door must be closed during operation,
Was the door open after completion of last cycle? The door must be opened and closed again to start a new cycle. Based on your information, at this point you have : a) No 120 VAC to the washer. b) The control lock option has been selected. c) The CCU is not seeing the door switch activate / de activate. When you unplug the power cord and remove the washer top, you can check for any loose connections and wires at the line filter in the rear corner of the cabinet. Check for loose connections at the CCU and the door switch/ door lock assembly, and check the door switch circuit for proper operation. Thanks and Good Luck
