Oven was unplugged for a while we had some work done on our kitchen. When we plugged it back in, we found that the touchpad isn't working. All 4 burners work just fine as does the oven light. The touch pad is completely blank - no clock, no error messages, nothing. And it's non-responsive when trying to turn on the oven or set the clock. Any help would be appreciated!

Pull the range out of the wall. Unplug the power cord, remove the rear cover and check all wires and connections, especially on the control board. Plug it back and check if it would work. If it would not then replace the control board. If you need the correct part number for the control board then post the color of the key pad and the serial number of the range. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for MAYTAG MER5780BAS | AppliancePartsPros.comGene.
