Hello, I am trying to find out how to tighten the door handle on the lG LRSC21935SW side-by-side refrigerator we have. Can anyone please assist me with this? I would hate to think I'm going to have to disassemble the entire door to make a simple tightening job.

I have a LSC27950 and it looks like it uses the same handles. I had one of mine come loose as well.
The fix is quite easy: grab the loose handle and lift upward, do not pry at the plastic caps or try to twist the handle, just lift upward. It should pop off, if not try tapping up from the bottom with a hammer. I have attached a picture to show what is holding the handle on. It is kind of like a picture frame bracket, it has a teardrop shaped hole, big on bottom and narrow at top, so you can slip the handle on the screw head thru the bigger end then push down to lock it on the narrow end.

Good Luck!

Yeah, I finally figured it out after waiting for the "experts" to reply to no avail and it is rather simple. Just slide the handle up with some pressure from the bottom of the handle and it slides right off, tighten the loose screw and slide the handle back on and down into place. Simple as that! Hope others find this info useful. Thanks "experts" for all your time and assistance (none).
