Gas service said it was brain...replaced brain...heat works great but warmer weather is here and would like a/c to work without the heat turning on

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/13/2009(UTC) Posts: 4		this may be an issue with a setting on the differential on your t-stat if you have an auto option on your system selector switch not the fan it may be jumping between heating an cooling try switching it to just cooling or adjust your heat and cool temperture @ least 5 degrees apart. good luck

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 9/1/2008(UTC) Posts: 440		The OFF-AUTO-ON switch is to control the fan. It is a separate switch from OFF-HEAT-COOL. The "anticipators" function is to prevent overshoot of temperature. :)
