I can put clothes in and it heats up but water and moisture accumulates in the drum and the vent. And if I start it up after many attempts it will dry. How do I clean the lint trap and where it sits?

You did not post a model #, but ususally the front has to come off, and the top has to come up. It is definetly a venting issue, either in the dryer or to the outside. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
