Hello,

Here's my problem. The replacement water valve for my refrigerator came in the mail today. However when I went to connect it, I found it wasn't quite the same. My old broken part has a screw-on connector for the water line, the new part has a push-in connector.

I looked at every parts store I could find with the model number of my refrigerator, and all I find is the new non-screw on water valve.

I don't know how to connect my water hose to this new part. I don't want to cut off the nice water valve my fridge has, it's obvious it's larger than the hole and has a spring inside of it. Is there some type of adapter I need?

I've attached pictures of the old/new water valve, and the screw-on hose my fridge has.

Thanks!

I found a solution to this problem. As it turns out, I could move the screw-on connector on the water line back up the line, and I simply jammed the hose up into the water valve. Worked like a charm!
