Hi, our "Quiet Partner II" soap door no longer stays latched. The blue lever pin fell out. I took off the 7 or 8 torx screws to figure out how the lever was held in place and I'm kind of dumbfounded as to how this thing works. Looking at the attachments and their names, can anyone help me figure out how this thing is supposed to be:
1) held in place?
2) controlled by the dishwasher?

Thanks!

A model number may help other help you.

Here is a similar dispenser. Click on the picture to see more views of it. As you can see you are missing a piece. t is not available as a separate part so the dispenser has to be replaced.
Part number: AP4429311

Also the Q and A may help.

Although for a different model the following should help.

You have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer.

Thanks for the backside photo. Well, since I don't have time to manufacture my own 5 cent parts, I had to order the whole thing (as you indicated) from Whirlpool for $65. The link provided took me to the correct part but it's out of stock.

Thanks for the help!
