When I turn the dial to light the burner on my cooktop, I can smell the gas but it takes a long time to light. This is the same for all five burners. I can hear the clicking sound but it will take anywhere from 20 to 30 seconds to light.

Twist each burner cap on the base a couple of times back and forth and see if that makes any difference. The spark must arc to the cap itself and not to the burner base. If you see the spark arcing to the base, there is usually a oxidation buildup on the burner caps that is preventing proper sparking. This will usually occur after the burner caps were washed.
