One of the cooktop knobs came loose on my range. So, I started to play with it and that caused a spark on the inside of the electric panel. The power went off and the breaker was tripped. After turning the breaker back on, the range is still not on. On the inside of the panel, there is a burn mark under the loose knob. Do I just need to replace the knob to bring power back or do I have a bigger problem now? Any suggestions...
Sorry the model is KERC607hwh5.

There are no fuses for the whole range and the oven control board and the surface elements have separated controls. So if everything is dead, the first thing you may want to check is the voltage to the range. It suppose to be about 240 VAC.

Is there an easy way to check the voltage? I'm assuming you mean to check it at the outlet?
