The dishwasher stays in the wash cycle for a very long time and the soap dispenser will not open/close automatically. I replaced the timer and soap dispenser but the problem remains the same. There is two blue wires that connect the dispenser to the timer, but they look fine. What is the problem? I really would like to fix my dishwasher. Everything else seems to be working fine, just the dispenser door is not working and thus dishwasher stays in wash cycle forever.

The water temperature is fine, I open up the dishwasher and steam pours out. The main problem is that the soap dispenser does not open via the timer. Do I have a faulty timer than? I'm ordering a second one to ship out to me to determine if first one sent was faulty or not.
