My Bosch dishwasher won't drain, but I hear the drain pump running.
Narrowing down. The hose is not clogged, checked entire length with flashligh behind it so I would see any clogs.
Impeller is spinning, took cover off to expose it and then turned on the dishwasher and then opened the door quickly and can see it finish spinning.
why isn't the water moving out if there are no clogs and the impeller is working. I can hear the pump running, is it possible for the pump to run and not make the water move?
thanks Debbie

I had same problem on my 4 year old Bosch dishwasher. Pump sounded like it was working OK but at the end of washing there was water in the bottom. I checked the drain hose and it was clear. I then pulled the DW to see what I could see. I removed a metal plate(2 screws) on the left outer side and noticed a small amount of water in the bottom tray that is under the washer that caused the flout(right behind the metal plate) to be up slightly but not all the way. I sucked the water out of the bottom tray with a plastic hose so the flout would go all the way down and put everything back together. Reinstalled the DW and presto it drains fine now. I can only assume the water/flout issue caused it to drain after I put it together.
