Large right front burner continues to spark when lit. All other burners spark only until lit, then stop. That one keeps sparking.

Had a repair guy out ($65), he said the part will be another $450. Seems steep, considering whole new unit is only about $800.

Any ideas on what could be the cause, and whether I can get the part and do it myself for less? Thanks.

Your model number doesn't pull up, please locate the number on the stove itself and post it for the best information.
