Idler pulley has one raised edge and not sure if raised edge goes toward the idler arm or not. Schematic seems to indicate away from arm. Please help.

Raised edge goes away from the idler arm.

Then if it tries to run off in one direction it hits the idler arm. In the other direction it would hit the lip.
