Woke up and found water on kitchen floor.. Bottom of freezer covered with ice..... i believe it is the drain plug - either froze or plugged.. Problem is i cant find the plug .. is it in the freezer or the fridge section.?. i found the exit at the back draining into the pan but i need to put a wire or something down from the top or start of the drain to get it unplugged.... Can you give me the location of the drain at the top? thanks j...

. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flush it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough. The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer. You may need to remove the back cover in the freezer.
The drain tray is part 20 on this diagram.
