Originally had a maytag dishwasher that was working properly then one day stopped draining. So I replaced the garbage disposale and and checked hoses and this did not fix the problem. So I replaced the dishwasher with the frigidaire listed above which is a year and a half old. It cleans fine but same thing will not drain out of the dishwasher after the cycle is complete. I've checked the exiting hose leading to the disposale for kinks and same result no draining. Could the pump be the problem but I want to be sure before buying this part. And is their anymore things to check? I also have checked the pipes leaving the house for clogs. So i'm out of ideas, please help me out. thanks David Miller

Have you removed the drain plug in the new garbage disposer when you installed it? Remove the dishwasher drain hose from the garbage disposer, put it in a large bucket and run the dishwasher.
