This refrigerator will not make ice because no water will come into freezer compartment for ice maker. There is a control on front that seems to work but no ice. We do get water when water control dispenser button is pushed--so we are getting water into that element.

Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear. See if the ice maker will start working after it freezes the water and dumps the ice.

Check and see if the tube going into freezer is froze.

Where are the two wires that I can reverse connection to see if water will cutoff to water dispenser and turn water on at ice cube maker? I tried just reversing the water lines coming out of valve but they are different size.

Each inlet valve has two wires with push on connectors connected to it. Put the two wires on the water dispenser side on the ice maker side.
