Not only do I have washer problems but I have Dryer problems also. I have a Kenmore Gas Dryer and when you press the start button it will start up for about 3 or 4 seconds and then it will shut off. I have checked the thermal fuse and the other High temp fuse, they both seem to be Ok. The start button seems to be Ok with my multi meter. The drum will start to turn and its like it hangs up. Any Suggestions? Thanks again for your time.

Hello. It sounds like you have a bad motor AP3094245. You can try turning the drum slowly clockwise and see if it feels hard to turn. If not, you will need to replace the motor. Good Luck!
