Update info I left out in first message. Washer (Front Loader) has no problem filling or draining, but it will not agetate. I removed the belt from the motor, the motor will turn a little or it will try to turn, as soon as you touch the shaft it stops. Not enough POWER to the shaft to keep it spinning. Motor won't engage. There is power to the shaft but not enough to make it spin, which happens in the wash cycle or spin cycle. Tried new motor, same thing. At first I thought it was caused by a broken shock, after replacing both still no change. Will wait another day befor calling tech. Kids in sports and clothes are SMELLING.

If your door latch mech is OK, then replace the motor control board, Its located in the Rt.Rear corner of the washer.:)
