The flame lights but does not stay lit. How do I check the flame Sensor with a ohm meter? Should I go ahead and get a new one? This sensor is hard to get to.

Sorry you have not gotten a quicker response but most of us who reply are electric people and I for one am not able to give advice on gas issues. The cost of being wrong in this area is pretty high, so if someone does not reply soon I advise you to have a service call from a competent gas dryer technician.

Good luck

Here I fix everything. Have for 30 years. If the flame comes on and does not stay on, provided the venting is all clear to the out side, replace the coils on the gas valve. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
