I have the same problem as the above user. Here's more details.
GE Profile dishwasher model PDW8200J03WW
After power outage, dishwasher came back on and just emitted steady beep, no lights or control response. I turn off the main breaker for a while, no luck.
I then read this forum and bought a replacement control module from Appliance Parts Pros, WD21X10215, (order #644145)
After installing the module, no difference. I get the same long steady beep. What should I replace next? Thanks for the help.

I have a GE Monogram that had the same problem. It was the keypad control strip.

Thanks Optimist. I know the part you are talking about (front panel piece with membrane push buttons, connects via ribbon cable to the control module) but I don't see "control panel" listed on the parts list. Is is called the Escutcheon? I think this is it. (Just didn't want to buy the wrong thing again). Thanks for the help. Enlarge Photo Escutcheon bowed - Color: White Part Number: AP3794428 made by GE

Yeah, that's what I kinda figured as well. Thanks for looking at it too. I'll order it tomorrow and see how it goes. Thanks again.

Just wanted to let everyone know, that fixed the problem! Steady Beep often means the control panel (Escutcheon).

Can anyone by chance verify if the keypad membrane is not connected electrically to the Control module that a steady beep is the symptom? I have a dead keypad, no lights ever, and I get the steady beep no matter if it is plugged into the control module or not, so if the control module required the keypad ribbon to be plugged into it, then it would, indicate I have a faulty keypad membrane, however if the control module does not require the keypad to be plugged into it to prevent this steady beep, then I may have another issue. Just trying to not fix a part if it is not broken so to speak...

I have replaced both circuit board and control board as they came as a pair in one box. Clean light just blinks...nothing else will work?!?! Any ideas of how to reset this GE dishwasher model # GLD4209L15SS....thanks!
