I purchased a new cycle control unit (the part that sets the cycles) and I cannot get it to work. Is there a wire/? that i'm not setting?

contact ruth@the-well.orgFrom the parts look-up the problem is the timer. It is new, purchased thru Sears. Before the washer would fill with water...nothing. With the new one...the same problem. No sounds.

Either you have a bad lid switch, or a bad thermal cutout in the motor. Both are easy to check.
