Hello, I've got a Frigidaire Gallery gas dryer that acts weird. On initial start the burner lights every time. It runs up to temp and the thermostat cuts the burner off, but then on re-light it never lights. The igniter glows, but no flame. After a bit the igniter glows again, but it never lights. Looking at the schematic under the lid it appears that the igniter glows until it gets hot and its resistance goes up until the booster coil gets pulled in. Then when the sensor sees a flame it opens and pulls in the secondary coil. So I am thinking I have an intermittent booster coil, but I can't figure out why it always works the first time, but not thereafter. Also, just for my own curiosity, I can't figure out what makes the igniter recycle and glow again as there is no timer associated with this circuit. Hoping for help, and thanks for providing this forum!
