washer will not drain water, where is lid switch located

I've seen some located on right side. You'll see a plastic pin on the lid which goes down into a little hole near the opening. Others are hidden near the back hinge where you can't see it.

Either way, you need to open the cabinet to find it, check it, and replace it.

Lid switch symptom: Washer stops dead at end of agitate cycle. Some washers even stop dead after it fills up.

If motor runs after agitate cycle has ended (there should be a short pause), then it's a different problem, such as bad pump, or something stuck inside pump or hose.
