What a shitty forum. Many, many posts go unanswered for weeks.
Many lookers but no answers.
Owners must just be interested in selling parts.
Sorry I'll buy somewhere else.

Well, If you go back through several pages of this forum you will see that almost all of the queries have at least one reply. I think you will find that where the questioner gives complete info about the appliance, give a coherent history of the problem and all of the pertinent information, they get a very good result.

Of the questions that do not have a reply, most do not have a model number (someone wrote "destroyed" which seem improbable, they probably just could not fnd it). Could you or your mechanic diagnose my car problem over the internet if I told you only that it was a Buick? Of the ones that do have model numbers and some information, many are just not answerable, such as "what is the funny buzzing noise" or "can I do this repair myself?" (maybe, tell us a little about your skills and experience.)

This forum is one of the best in this area, the responders are unusually polite even in the most trying of circumstances when insufficient information is given, or in incomplete information is given. If you follow the threads you will see that in many cases a questioner will respond in a later post with pertinent information, rendering an earlier answer moot because the person responding did not have all the facts. ("I forgot to tell you last week the dryer caught on fire, is that important?")

Think about what is going on here. The people who respond here are trying to diagnose a problem without ever seeing the machine operate, a disadvantage no in-your-home repair tech would operate under. They also do not know the technical level of the questioner, and whether or not the questioner can do basic tasks like open up the appliance, use a multi-meter or even operate the appliance correctly. Most requests for the questioner to post results of the recommended fix (one can learn from what happened, or did not happen) go unheeded.

The company sells parts about as inexpensively as you will find, and I do not see any overt advertising or requests that you use them.

I guess if you think experts should immediately tell you how to fix your appliance, free of cost and free of mistakes, based on incomplete information maybe you had better stick to calling the repair tech. Just be prepared to pay them $50 to $100 just to show up at your door, and for them to sell you parts at a 100% or more markup. Oh, and a number of times they sell you parts you do not need out of their honest mistakes (see some of the discussions here) and you never know it.

As a strong user and sometimes responder, I am sorry your experience was a bad one, hope you find something better.

Thanks for your reply. However , I do not agree with your evalustion of the quality of this forum.
Just as an example, on the 2 largest post forums....refrigerators and Ovens and only on the first 2 pages there are 10 posts with Zero response and on ovens 24 Zero response.
I agree not everybody gives a complete description of the problem but the lack of ANY responce at all is not a good sign of any legitimate HELP forum. The forum is sponsered by a parts supply company whose main interest is to sell parts. If the sponser does not have their own moderators or help staff to answer the call for help, then they should just advertise the parts supply aspect of the business, not the HELP forum.
I think CRAIGSLIST fixet is a much better site to get actual help for a problem.....sorry
