Error code 5F appeared while cooking this morning. I have turned power off and on after 5 minutes. Still shows code and no ability to control anything. Can't find this code listed anywhere.

This just happened to my 2008 Electrolux slide in range with Wave Control. I found a posting on "FixYa.com", and a solution that worked!

Simply press the + and - (Plus and Minus) - keys on the bottom of the numeric keypad simultaneously for 3 seconds. This resets the display panel for the range top to the factory default settings. Then reset the clock per the user manual, and you should be OK. Caused by temperatures on the glass top falling outside of the ranges expected by the display controls, and the control shuts itself off until it is reset to the factory defaults. In our case, a guest put a hot pot on the glass top straddling three burners. Oh well...

The service technician we called didn't know of this fix, and I can't find it on other posts; but it saved me $650 because I didn't have to replace the stove top display board.

Post if this works for you please.

Hold down the + and - (plus and minus) buttons on the bottom of the numeric keypad for 3 to 5 seconds. The displays will reset to the factory default setting, and your are back in business

This solution solved my problem. After frying wings the some hot grease cause the oven to lock and I couldn't cancel. After reading this post, I tried it and it WORKED!! Thanks a million.

I received an E 15 error code on Electrolux slide in Induction range. I had already done the unplug reset and the breaker box reset. That did not work. So..to the the internet I went
I began shopping around for another induction range after reading several posts on other sites. It seemed hopeless and VERY expensive to TRY to figure out what the problem is.
Enter AppliancePartsPro.
I am so grateful to have found the post that suggested to hold down the - and the
+ (just below the numbers) at the same time for 3 to 5 seconds. I did the hold for 10 for good measure.
It has been just about 25 minutes and no error code and that annoying beeping are gone. IT WROKED!! My Induction range has been reset to factory settings.
I can't tell you how happy I am. I just had a night mare of a move into an old house that has already put me in the hole 30K. The thought of spending any more money...just about put me over the edge.
Oh and a FYI- One post mentioned excessive heat being created on the glass top. I do believe that was what set off the problem. i had the oven at 450 and I used the power boost at the same time. I WONT DO THAT AGAIN.
